Nectarine-Pepper Salsa

This fresh fruit salsa is sweetly spiced with Caribbean-style seasonings. Serve with broiled fish or poultry, or use it like a fresh chutney alongside a curried dish.

1 pound nectarines, cut into 1/2" dice
1 small red bell pepper, cut into 1/2" squares
1/2 cup diced red onion
1 teaspoon minced fresh or pickled jalapeno pepper
2-1/2 teaspoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon allspice
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
2 tablespoons orange juice

In medium bowl, stir together nectarines, bell pepper, onion, jalapeno, lime juice, orange juice, sugar, salt, ginger, and allspice. Refrigerate until serving time.
