Creamy Strawberry-Pineapple Smoothie

If you aren’t a fan of buttermilk, you could make this breakfast smoothie with yogurt instead. The warm spices-allspice and nutmeg-are a perfect match for pineapple.

1 cup buttermilk
1 cup canned juice-packed pineapple chunks, drained
1/2 cup frozen strawberries, unthawed
1 tablespoon honey
2 teaspoons lime juice
1/8 teaspoon allspice
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
4 ice cubes

In a blender, combine the buttermilk, pineapple, strawberries, honey, lime juice, allspice, nutmeg, and ice cubes, and puree until thick and smooth. Makes 2 servings
