How It Works: 

Nature’s Herbs Premium Quality Maca is grown and harvested in the mountains of Peru. Grown at elevations of 9,000 to 11,000 feet, Maca plants are subjected to fierce winds, severe sunlight and intense cold. Maca is a root vegetable or tuber that is ready to harvest 6 to 7 months after planting. Maca tubers can be boiled or dried and have a sweet, tangy taste and an aroma similar to butterscotch.
